10 Steps to Becoming a Better Writer (Poster)

If you are interested in becoming a better writer than you need to write daily. Not just 5 days a week either, but EVERY DAY! I hear this #1 writing tip regularly from anyone who is a veteran writer. Here’s some motivation to help you.

You don’t have to publish your writing daily, but at least sit down on a daily basis and focus on putting words together that are capable of moving people. Aim for a minimum of 20 minutes of writing. Or better yet, aim for at least 500 words. Just let them flow and get them out on paper or wherever it is you prefer to write and practice your craft and you will be well on your way to becoming a better writer. Practice really does make us better and can take your writing to the next level.

I love this poster by Brian Clark of Copyblogger.com and just had to share it with you. There is also a PDF version available for print. I’ve printed it and plan to put it up near my desk as a reminder.
